Universal Tag, Inc. Installs the New RICOH PRO C901 Graphic Arts Edition Color Production Digital Printing Press

Advanced Digital Printer Delivers Full Color Offset Quality Results Quickly and Economically

Dudley, MA, March 30, 2011 – Universal Tag, Inc., a manufacturer of custom printed tags, labels, and commercial printing, announced today the installation of the new RICOH® Pro C901 Graphic Arts Edition, an advanced digital color production press designed specifically for professional production printing. This new addition expands Universal Tags digital production color printing capabilities.

“This new technology from Ricoh will enable us to further meet the demands of our customers needs for high quality printed matter, color consistency, and on a wider variety of substrates,” according to Paul Mandeville, President of the company. “Our customers have been relying on us for full color printing solutions for their business needs and marketing materials for over a decade. The Ricoh technology allows us to provide them with more options for printed products and services and is a natural progression for us to take.”

The Pro C901 runs at a speed of 90 pages-per-minute on up to 300gsm (approximately 14pt Cover) weight material making it one of the fastest digital print engines in its class without sacrificing print quality. Printed images are clear, crisp, and clean looking with a print resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi  to satisfy the most demanding print requirements. Excellent printing results are obtained for printed products including but not limited to flyers, business cards, letterheads, postcards, booklets, catalogs, product sheets, hang tags, and much more.
